Pouring wine can be said to be an essential professional skill in the wine bureau. In the Chinese wine culture, there is a lot of attention to pouring wine. But how do you pour wine for others at the dinner table? What is the correct posture for pouring wine?

Prepare clean paper towels or napkins in advance to wipe the mouth of the bottle. Before pouring red wine, wipe the mouth of the bottle with a clean towel. (Some wines that need to be kept at a lower temperature must also be poured with a napkin wrapped in a wine bottle to avoid warming the wine due to hand temperature)

When pouring wine, the sommelier is used to holding the bottom of the wine bottle and turning the wine label up to show the wine to the guests, but we don’t have to do this in daily life.

If the wine is sealed with a cork, after opening the bottle, the owner should pour a little in his own glass to taste whether there is bad cork smell, if the taste is not pure, he should change another bottle.

1. Wines with lighter wines should be served first than wines with heavier wines;

2. Serve dry red wine and dry sweet wine first;
